SUGLEY SCHOOL,

LEMINGTON-ON-TYNE,

15th April, 1904.

CHRIST CHURCH SCHOOL,

NEWCASTLE-ON-TYNE,

Feb. 12th, 1914.

I have very great pleasure in recommending Mr. L. Forster to favourable notice.

Mr. Forster spent a week in this school "on supply" and took charge of a large mixed class consisting of standards 5, 6, and 7, in all about go children.

In this capacity he has rendered excellent service, and though I have known Mr. Forster for but a short time, I can recommend him as a first rate all round man Mr. Forster maintains perfect discipline without the slightest suggestion of severity and his methods of teaching are the very best I have ever seen employed.

Personally Mr. Forster has been most punctual, courteous and obliging, and has spared no pains to render his very best services under circumstances which were often difficult and trying.

(signed) ED. GEO. PRICE,

Mr. Lancelot Forster has had varied and considerable experience as

a teacher both in Day and Evening Continuation Schools, and has been first Assistant Master in this school during the last four years, filling his office with zeal and earnestness to the entire satisfaction of all concerned. Of the highest possible character and imbued with a deep sense of re- sponsibility, Mr. Forster of good presence and address, his efforts all tend to harmony in work, while regularity and persistence in the perform- ance of duty beget confidence in him, and make him worthy of the strongest recommendation that can be given him.
